The Porsche Carrera GT was developed in 1999 and was manufactured by the German manufacturer, Porsche. The Carrera GT is a two-door convertible production car. Carrera GT used rear wheel drive as the standard option. Carrera GT used advanced technology like a pure carbon fiber monocoque, subframe, new parts for dry sump lubrication and inboard suspension.
The Carrera GT used five different colour paint scheme which includes Guards Red, Fayence Yellow, Basalt Black, GT Silver and Seal Grey. In some parts, custom colours were also available from the factory. Porsche stated that Carrera GT will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 3.9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). The Carrera GT used the V10 engine that was designed for the sports vehicles. The Carrera GT also includes an automated rear wing spoiler which deploys above 70 mph. Stability control was not very good with the Carrera GT.
