The Saturn Relay is the first minivan that was manufactured and marketed by the Saturn part of American automaker General Motors. The Saturn Relay was introduced in 2005 and was a short lived model that was produced only till 2007. The Saturn Outlook was used to replace the Saturn Relay. The parts of the Saturn Relay were assembled at the plant in Doraville, Georgia, United States. The Saturn Relay used the U-Body platform and had the front engine layout. The Saturn Relay had optional front wheel drive or four wheel drive.
The Saturn Relay was available as a four door minivan. The Saturn Relay used the 3.5 Litre LX9 V6 engine and the 3.9 Litre LZ9 V6 engine. The fuel capacity of the Saturn Relay is 95 litres and used the four speed automatic transmission to transfer the power. The Saturn Relay can accommodate seven passengers and was available in three trim levels that include: FWD, 3FWD, and 3AWD. The Saturn Relay is considered as the only Saturn vehicle without polymer side paneling, and is the first Saturn vehicle that is a re-badged Chevrolet or Pontiac.
