The 510 or Datsun 1600 is the most famous model manufactured by Nissan. The Datsun 510 was called as the “poor man's BMW' by AutoWeek's G.D. Levy. The 510 was launched in August 1968, and has remained one of the most successful of the Bluebird ranges in terms of body styles and quality. This model was available as a two door sedan, a four door sedan, a five door station wagon, and a two door coupe.
