The Mazda Navajo is a two-door compact Sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was manufactured by the Ford Motor Company and was marketed by Mazda. The Mazda Navajo was introduced in 1991 and was produced for only four years till 1994. The Mazda Navajo was replaced by the Mazda Tribute. The Mazda Navajo is the first truck based SUV and also the first off-roader from Mazda. The Mazda Navajo was powered by the 4.0 Litre 160 hp (119 kW) V6 engine and was supported by the four speed automatic or the five speed manual transmission. The Mazda Navajo was 'Motor Trend' magazine's Truck of the year for 1991.
