The Mazda Millenia is a mid-size executive car that was manufactured and marketed by Mazda. The Mazda Millenia also used the following names based on the market: Eunos 800, Mazda Eunos 800 and Xedos 9. The Mazda Millenia was introduced in 1993 and was produced for ten years till 2003. The parts of the Mazda Millenia were assembled at the plant in Hiroshima, Japan. The Mazda Millenia used the Mazda T platform and was available in the four door sedan body style. The Mazda Millenia was used to replace the Mazda 929.
The Mazda Millenia was originally planned as the second of three luxury cars for Mazda's luxury brand, Amati. The Mazda Millenia used the FF layout: front engine with front wheel drive train. The Mazda Millenia used different types of engines that include the 2.0 Litre 140 hp (104 kW) V6 engine, 2.5 Litre 170 hp (127 kW) V6 engine and the 2.3 Litre 210 hp (157 kW) Miller cycle V6 engine. The engine was supported by either the four speed automatic or the five speed manual transmission. In parts of the USA, the Millenia was available with or without the Miller Cycle engine (The "Millenia S" spec)
