The Isuzu Hombre is a pickup vehicle that was introduced by Isuzu. The Isuzu Hombre was introduced in 1996; it is the rebadged Chevrolet S-10/GMC Sonoma. The Isuzu Hombre was used to replace the Indiana-built Isuzu Pick Up. The Isuzu Hombre was produced at the General Motors' Shreveport, Louisiana plant. The Isuzu Hombre was not a very successful model and the sales number dropped. The Isuzu Hombre was stopped after the I-series was introduced by Isuzu. The Hombre is considered one of the rarest pickups in North America as of 2006.
The Isuzu Hombre was offered in a small model range with a modest selection of equipment packages. The V6 engine and four-wheel drive was used by the Hombre from 1997 to 1998Hombres also used the S-10's aluminium rims with Isuzu Center caps. The main features that made the Isuzu Hombre a special model are the Front Sheetmetal, with different lights, grille, Front Bumper and front fenders, which are more flared out.
