The Kia Optima is a mid-size automobile that was manufactured and marketed by the Kia part of the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group. The Kia Optima was introduced in 2000 and is a successful model that is still produced. The parts of the Kia Optima were assembled at the plant in Hwasung, South Korea.
