The Honda Civic is a line of subcompact and compact cars manufactured by Honda. Honda Civic was introduced in July 1972, initials as a two-door coupe and later the three-door hatchback was added. The Civic is the second-longest continuously-running nameplate from a Japanese manufacturer in the United States of America. The Honda Civic has gone through several generational changes and many parts have been modified to make it a successful model.
The Honda Civic provided good interior space despite overall small dimensions as a result of the engine used and the positioning of the other parts. The current model of the Civic is luxurious with air conditioning, power locks, and power windows, plus options like leather upholstery, satellite-linked navigation, and also used the six-speed manual transmission. The main factors that made the Honda Civic a successful model are fuel-efficiency, reliable and environmentally friendly, performance and sportiness.
