The Chevrolet Corsica is a mid-sized front-wheel drive car that was produced by Chevrolet part of the General Motors. The Corsica was introduced in 1987 and was produced till 1996. The Corsica used the L-body platform, which was also used by the 2-door Beretta, Pontiac Tempest. Corsica was built in parts of Wilmington, Delaware and Linden, New Jersey. The Chevrolet Corsica was sold in different parts in two body styles and was available in four trims.
The Corsica was introduced in 1987 as a fleet car to rental agencies. Silver colour was used for the base Corsica's door handles and LT/LTZ had black-colour handles. The Corsica is one of the famous models of Chevrolet that was modified many times and used many advanced parts. The Corsica XT is one of the least sold and was not a very successful trim of the Corsica. 1996 was the last model year for the Chevrolet Corsica and Chevrolet used the Malibu in 1997 to replace the Corsica.
