The Acura RDX is a compact crossover sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was manufactured and marketed by the Acura part of Honda. The Acura RDX was introduced in the New York Auto Show and went on sale on August 11, 2006. The Acura RDX was introduced as a concept car called the Acura RD-X and is a successful model that is till in production. The Acura RDX used a different platform and was available as an all wheel drive model. The parts of the Acura RDX were assembled at the plant in Marysville, Ohio, United States.
