The Volkswagen Corrado is a hatchback coupe; it was developed by German automaker Volkswagen. The Corrada used the Volkswagen A2 platform for the rear of the car and the Volkswagen B3 platform for the front. Some of the mechanical parts of the Corrada were based on the Volkswagen A platform. The parts of the Volkswagen Corrada was assembled and built by Karmann in Osnabr. The Corrada was produced by Volkswagen from 1988 to 1995.
The Volkswagen Corrada was not very successful but still it was sold in many parts of the World. The Corrado was also available as a three door hatchback version that used the 2+2 seating layout. The Corrado was one of the sports cars that used the Volkswagen platform. Corrado was listed in the "25 Cars You Must Drive Before You Die" by the British magazine, 'Car'. The Volkswagen is considered as one of the modern classics and has many owner clubs in different parts of the World.
