Nissan Frontier is a pickup truck that was introduced by Nissan. The Nissan Frontier was introduced in 1997 for the 1998 model year and is the name used for the D22 and D40 generations of Nissan pickup trucks in the North, Central and Southern parts of America and the Philippines. The Nissan Frontier used the KA24DE petrol and TD27 diesel engine. Two wheel drive and four wheel drive options were available and used the 5 speed manual transmission as standard. The Nissan Frontier was also exported to Central and Southern parts of America.
