The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a mid size Uni-Frame sport utility vehicle produced by the Jeep part of Chrysler. The design for the Jeep Grand Cherokee was in work from 1983 and was introduced in 1989 as the Jeep Concept I show car. The Grand Cherokee is the first Chrysler model that used the name as Jeep. The Grand Cherokee was sold in different pats of the World. The European Grand Cherokees are manufactured in Austria by Magna Steyr. The Grand Cherokee was available sale and became a major competitor from 1992.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee produced a different variation for the 1998 model year and was called the 5.9 Limited. The 5.9 was famous for the Luxury options that it provided. The Jeep Grand Cherokee used the Magnum 5.9 Litre V8 engine with an output of 245 hp (183 kW) and 345 lbft (468 Nm) of torque. The Jeep Grand Cherokee had the ability to go from zero to 60 mph (100 km/h) in only 7.3 seconds, making it the quickest SUV available that year.
