The Ascender ended production on June 6, 2008 as part of Isuzu's withdrawal from the United States market. Equinox and the Traverse are the successors of the Isuzu Ascender. As a result of Isuzu's withdrawal from Canada, the Ascender was not sold in the Canadian market. The Isuzu Ascender was stopped as a result of the bad reviews, bad dealer network for warranty repairs and the low resale value.
