The Five Hundred was first introduced at the 2004 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and was available to the public in September 2004. The Five hundred was used by Ford to replace the Taurus on the Chicago Assembly line. The Ford Five Hundred received a facelift and was available in parts of the Middle East from the 2008 model year.
