The Pontiac Phoenix is a compact car that was manufactured and marketed by the Pontiac part of General Motors. The Pontiac Phoenix used the General Motor's X-body platform. The Pontiac Phoenix was introduced in 1977 and was produced for only seven years till 1984. The Pontiac Phoenix was used to replace the Pontiac Ventura and was replaced by the Pontiac Grand Am. The parts of the Pontiac Phoenix were assembled at the plant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
