The Chevrolet Lumina is a full size car that was available in the sedan and minivan body-style. The Lumina was introduced by the Chevrolet part of General Motors in 1990 and was produced till 2001. The Chevrolet Lumina was used to replace the Chevrolet Celebrity sedan, and the Monte Carlo coupe. The Chevrolet Lumina was built at the Oshawa Car Assembly plant, in Ontario, Canada. The Cevrolet Lumina used the W-body platform and is the longest car built on the platform. The Chevrolet Lumina was available in the FF Layout.
The Chevrolet Lumina was available in the coupe and sedan version. The Chevrolet Lumina used three types of engine that include the 2.5 Litre Iron Duke I4 engine, 3.1 Litre LHO V6 and the 3.4 litre LQ1 V6 engine. The four transmissions that were used were the five speed manual transmission, three speed 3T40 automatic transmissions, four speed 4T60 automatic transmissions and the four speed 4T60-E automatic transmission. The Chevrolet Lumina was also called the Chevrolet Z34.
