The Audi Q7 is a full-size luxury crossover, sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was manufactured and marketed by the Audi, the German automaker that is a part of Volkswagen group. The Audi Q7 was introduced at the Los Angeles auto show in January 2006 and is a successful luxury model that is still produced and used in different parts of the World. The parts of the Audi Q7 were assembled at the plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Audi Q7 used the Volkswagen group PL71 platform.
The Audi Q7 used the longitudinal front engine layout with permanent four-wheel drive, 'quattro'. The Audi Q& is available in the five door SUV body-style. The name, Q& marks the beginning of the new family of cars, 'Q' and the number denotes the placement of the car between Audi A6 and Audi A8. The Audi Q7 was powered by the following engines: 4.2 Liter V8 FSI engine, 3.6 Liter V6 FSI engine, 4.2 Liter V8 TDI engine, 3.0 Liter V6 TDI engine and the 6.0 Liter V12 TDI engine.
