The full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 1998 from Chevrolet and GMC were called C/K. In 1988, the Chevrolet C/K light duty pickup truck was replaced with the GMC Sierra. In 1960, C/K 10 Series trucks were available in smooth Fleetside or fendered Stepside versions. The majority of the Chevrolet C/K 10 Series from 1967 to 1972 were shipped with a coil spring trailing arm rear suspension, which greatly improved the ride over traditional leaf springs.
The series name C/K denoted, C trucks had two-wheel drive while K models had four wheel drive. Chevrolet C/K 10 series was available in the following trim pieces:
