The name Brougham was used by Cadillac in 1950 for the four-door Eldorado. The Eldorado Brougham model was introduced in 1955. The Brougham was produced as a limited production model from 1957 through 1960. It was from 1987 to 1992 that the Brougham was introduced as a separate model. Brougham was considered as Cadillac's most luxurious owner-driven large sedan model through 1986. From 1988 till 1992, Broughams were produced at Arlington Assembly in Arlington, Texas.
