The Saturn Ion Red Line is a compact car that was sold in parts of North America. The Saturn Ion Red Lined is also the longest compact car that was sold in North America. The Ion Red Line was produced and marketed by the Saturn part of American automaker General Motors. The Saturn Ion Red Line used the GM Delta platform. The Ion Red Line was used by Saturn to replace the Saturn S-Series. The Saturn Ion Red Line is the high-performance variant of the Ion was introduced by Saturn in 2004.



The high power Saturn Ion Red Line used the 205 hp (153 kW) supercharged engine, and the F35 5-speed manual transmission. The Red Line's buckets are sized and shaped to perfection the combination of quality cloth and actual leather provided ideal support and unmatched comfort for the driver. The Saturn Ion Red Line used front struts, a beam rear suspension, front and rear anti-roll bars, polished 17x7 wheels and Dunlop SP9000 tires. The Saturn Ion Red Line also features four doors like the base Saturn Ion.
