The Pontiac Fiero is a mid-engined sports car that was built by the Pontiac part of General Motors. The Pontiac Fiero was introduced in 1984 and was produced for four years till 1988. The name, 'Fiero' means proud in Italian and horny in Spanish. The Pontiac Fiero was designed by Hulki Aldikacti as a Pontiac sports car. The Fiero was the first two-seater Pontiac since the 1926 to 1938 coupes, and also the first and only mass-produced mid-engine sports car by a U.S. manufacturer.
