The Plymouth Horizon is a front wheel drive car that was produced and marketed by the Dodge and Plymouth part of Chrysler Corporation. The Plymouth Horizon was introduced in parts of North America in 1978. The Plymouth Horizon was available as a three and five door hatchback. The Plymouth Horizon used the European Simca as the base for the design. The Plymouth Horizon is one of the first successful front-wheel drive models. The other successful front wheel drive models were the Dodge Aries/Plymouth Reliant and the Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager.
