The Oldsmobile Firenza is a compact car produced by the Oldsmobile part of the General Motors. The Oldsmobile Firenza was introduced in 1982 and used the front-wheel drive GM J platform as the base. The Buick Skyhawk, Cadillac Cimarron, Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunbird used the same platform. 1988 was the last year of production of the Oldsmobile Firenza. The Firenza was Oldsmobile's entry-level compact car, and the price was below the Omega and Calais/Cutlass Calais. The Oldsmobile Firenza was available in the Coupe, Wagon and Sedan version in many parts.

The Oldsmobile Firenza used the 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine. In 1983, the Firenza Cruiser wagon was introduced and in 1985 the 2.8 Litre LE2 V6 engine was used as optional. The GT was a trim of the Oldsmobile Firenza and used the V6 engine as standard. The main trim levels for the Firenza included: base, LX, S, SX, GT (1986-1987), LC (1986-1987), LX Brougham (1987 only). 1988 was the last year of production of the Oldsmobile Firenza. The main optional features of the Oldsmobile Firenza include the air conditioning, leather seats, power seats, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power locks, rear defrost, power steering, manual or power sunroof, power moonroof parts, alloy wheels, premium wheels, AM/FM stereo radio, and cassette player.
