The Mazda B-series truck is a 2 door pick-up truck that was introduced in 1961 by Mazda Motor Corporation. Mazda has used the engine displacement to determine the name from the first B-Series Truck. Mazda B-Series Trucks were called by different names based on the market. In Japan they were called Mazda Titan, Mazda Bravo in Australia, Mazda Bounty in New Zealand, Mazda Magnum / Thunder / Fighter in Thailand, and as Mazda Drifter in South Africa.


The Mazda B-Series truck was introduced in Japan in August 1961 as the B1500/Proceed. It had a 1484 cc OHV water cooled engine with wet sleeve cylinders which produced about 59 hp (44 kW). The current model was introduced in 1999, and is called the mark 7. T he mark 7 was available in four body styles and two engine options. The B1500 had a 1.5 Litre engine, and the B4000 has a 4.0 Litre V6 engine.
