The Lexus GS 450H is a part of the GS series. The Lexus GS 450H is a mid size luxury sports sedan executive car. The GS 450H was manufactured and marketed by Lexus from 1993. The GS 450H (GWS191) was designed to fill the gap between the ES and LS series and to have a sports sedan in the Lexus line up. The GS 450H is a successful model that has been in three generations of production. The GS 450H was a more powerful and a better vehicle that the ES series. The letter 'H' in the name stands for the performance Hybrid and the type of engine used.


The third generation GS series is the current generation and was sold in different parts of the World from the 2006 model year. The GS 450H used the V6, V8, and hybrid versions that were called the GS 450h performance hybrid. The GS series was modified and used advanced features and the GS 450H is the result of the modification and the changes done to the previous GS models. The GS 450H was unveiled at the 2005 New York International Auto Show the GS 450 H became part of the GS line for the 2007 model year.
