The Audi Coupe is a two door coupe that was manufactured by Audi. The Audi was available in many versions and was produced from 1980 to 1987. Audi used the Audi Coupe as the affordable version of the Turbo-charged Quattro. Initially the Audi Coupe was introduced as a two door model but later in 1984Audi Coupe GT was introduced that was a Quattro, permanent four wheel drive.

The Audi Coupe was similar to the Quattro, however did not use the knife edged fender flare parts. The Audi Coupe used the 1.9 litre carburetted engine, 2.0 litres, 2.2, or 2.3 litre injected inline 5 cylinder engine and the 1.8 litre injected inline 4 cylinder engine. Audi Coupe was a successful model that was used in different parts of the World as many variations were available. The Coupe GT was well received and 174,687 cars were built from 1980 to 1987.
