The Hummer H3 is a Sub Compact vehicle that is a part of the Hummer H line-up. The Hummer H3 was produced and marketed by Hummer part of General Motors. The Hummer H3 was introduced in 2006 and used the GMT355 as the base. The Hummer H3T is a concept vehicle from Hummer that was used as a media diversion from the Hummer H3The Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon compact pickup trucks used the same base. The Hummer H3 is the first Hummer car to be built by GM. The Hummer H3 was sold in different parts and was available in two variations: traditional midsize SUV and as a midsize pickup known as the H3T. The Hummer H3T production model was introduced at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show, as a vehicle for the 2009 model year. The Hummer H3 initially used the 3.5 litre straight-5 cylinder L52 engine that produced 220 hp (160 kW) and 225 ftlbf (305 Nm) of torque with a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional Hydra-Matic 4L60-E four-speed automatic transmission. After 2007, the Hummer H3 used the 3.7 litre LLR that produced 242 hp (180 kW) and 242 ftlbf (328 Nm) of torque.
