The F-350 is a heavy duty pickup that is a part of the Ford F-series. Ford F-350 is a pickup introduced by Ford Motor Company as part of F-series in 1953. Ford offers the very rare Low GVWR versions of the Ford F-250 Super Duty. Ford F-350 used the Ford F Series platform. The F-350 is the revised name used for the F-35 that had high performance ability and considered 1 ton. The Ford F-series that included the F-350 was sold for nearly five decades. The Ford F-series used the Marmon-Herrington, All Wheel Drive till 1959.
Initially the Ford F-350 was built at the Highland Park Ford Plant in Highland Park, Michigan. Later the production was transferred to 10 other plants in the USA. The Ford F-350 used revised styling, a stronger frame parts, better handling dynamics, a nicer interior and an improved turbo-diesel engine. The F-350 used standard Trailer Sway Control (TSC) built on the AdvanceTrac system with Roll Stability Control. The Ford F-350 used different types of engine including 5.4-liter V8 engine, 6.8-liter V10 and 7.3-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V8 engine. The five-speed manual transmission was used as standard and four-speed automatic optional.
