The Honda Integra is a sporty front-wheel drive vehicle sold both as a sedan and hatchback. The Integra was introduced by Acura in 1980 and is the smallest and a very economic model in the Acura Lineup. The Integra was sold as an Acura model in North America and in other parts it was sold as a Honda model. The Acura Integra was used as a major competitor for the Volkswagen Golf GTI, the most popular hot hatch. The Integra has been produced in many generations and the Sedan was available initially. The fourth generation of the Acura Integra was sold as the RSX in North America. The Integra was on Car and Driver magazine's annual Ten Best list six times, in 1987, 1988, and from 1994 to 1997. The Integra was modified many times: new parts were used and advanced features were introduced. The Integra was available in different trim levels. The Integra GS-R model was called out specifically in 1994 and 1995. The Acura Integra RSX was also in the ‘Ten Best’ list for 2002 and 2003. The Integra Type-R (DC2) was named as the best front-wheel-drive drivers' car ever by Evo Magazine in 2006.
