Dodge is a famous automobile company that is based in United States. The Dodge is a part of the Chrysler Group LLC and is famous for the minivans, sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks. The headquarters of Dodge is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States. The Dodge vehicles are used widely in parts of the United States, Mexico, Europe, South America, Asia and also Australia. In 1900 the Dodge name was introduced as a brother company that supplied parts and assemblies for Detroit's auto industry and started making complete vehicles from 1914.
The Dodge Brothers Company was initially founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900. Dodge was a successful model and was used widely in the War and was known for the durability. In 1920 the Dodge vehicles were ranked number two in American sales and sales dropped and were in the fifth place in 1925 and in the seventh place in 1927. The Chrysler Corporation bought Dodge in 1928. In 2007, Dodge was introduced in parts of Japan and re-introduced in China. Dodge used different logos that include the star, forward look logo, fratzag logo, pentastar logo and the Ram’s head logo.
