Acura is a part of the Japanese Automaker, Honda Motor Company known for the Luxury vehicles. The Acura was founded in 1986 and the headquarters is located in Tokyo, Japan. Acura brand cars were used widely in United States, Canada and Hong Kong. In 1986, Acura introduced the Legend in North America as the first Japanese luxury marque. The famous and the successful cars from Acura include the Acura Legend, Acura Integra, Acura Integra, Acura NSX, Acura3.2 TL, Acura TSX and Acura Sterling.
Acura cars are used successfully in sports also. Acura also currently uses RSXs and TSXs in the Grand American Road Racing Association's KONI Challenge Series for touring cars. Acura has won many prizes and awards that include the Motor Trend’s prestigious Import Car of the Year trophy won by Acura Legend Coupe in 1991. In the customer service index by J.D. Power and Associates the Acura dealership won the first place in the United States till 1991. The name, Acura Integra that was introduced in 1986 was replaced by RSX in parts of North America.
